CRAIG B. CLAYTON, SR.
Craig is the Director and Diversity Strategist with the University of Houston's International Institute for Diversity & Cross Cultural Management since 1999. He created the countries first diversity management certificate program offered by a College or University in 2000. He is currently the President & C.E.O of the Spartacus Group, Inc. as well as the founder and Executive Director of the Global Center for Diversity & Cultural Competency.
Craig holds a U.S. Patent on a Diversity Management System that is used to calculate a financial metric and process he developed called the dEPS - Diversity Earnings Per Share Process. This process links diversity and inclusion to organizational earnings.
He has over twenty years of diverse business experiences. He has worked with Fortune 500 firms in a number of capacities including training, sales, marketing, operations, research and more. He was an associate professor at DeVry University's Los Angeles-area campus for two years. He has designed and developed programs and services to support organizations in their efforts to create and sustain long-term cultural change.
His entrepreneurial experiences include founding a Los Angeles-based export firm focusing on Pacific Rim countries. He has traveled to over 14 nations. He has been a public speaker making presentations before corporate executives and foreign ministers in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines, Taiwan, Beijing, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. He has conducted symposiums and training in numerous locations around the world including Mexico City, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
